Contribution is ALL-INCLUSIVE and covers registration to the workshop, lodging, meals (participants will receive vouchers to eat in local restaurants), coffee breaks and transport to and from the airport (Trapani or Palermo). Students will be kindly requested to share their room.

Participation Awards

Undergraduates, master & PhD students and postdoc researchers presenting a poster / oral presentation at the workshop are eligible for a 450 euros award. The best abstracts will be selected for the awards. Award winners will be notified by 10 Sep 2023 24:00 UTC.

Posters and Short Communication

Participants interested in presenting a poster and/or a short communication are asked to submit a title and 250-word abstract.

Short Communications

Two abstracts will be selected for short communications (20 min + 5 min discussion). Speakers selected for the short communication will be notified by 10 Sep 2023 24:00 UTC.

Poster Dimensions

Posters should be a maximum of 100cm high and 60cm wide.

Abstract Preparation

A 250 words abstract must be submitted for each type of presentation (poster or oral). We are only able to accept files saved in Microsoft Word format (.doc). Please save and upload your file using the naming convention ‘Surname.doc’ (eg. Smith.doc ).’
