Posters and Oral Presentations

Every participant should send a short CV and is welcome to submit a title and 300-word abstract for a poster. We will try to accommodate as many posters as we can, rotating them if necessary. Those who indicate on the registration form that they would like to give a brief (12 min + 3 min discussion) oral presentation during one of the sessions, will be entered into a competition over 7-8 slots for such presentations. Poster should be a maximum of 100 cm high and 60 cm wide. Consider to arrange materials in columns rather than rows - this format is easier for viewers to read.

Abstracts Preparation

An abstract must be submitted for each type of presentation (poster or oral), the maximum length of this abstract is 300 words. For the editorial procedure we can handle only files saved in Microsoft Word format (.doc suffix). Please name the abstract file after the presenter's surname (eg. smith.doc ) The characters should be Times New Roman, size 12, spacing 1, fully justified. The title of the abstract should be in capital letters and bold style. Name of the authors (Family name, Abbreviations of First and Middle names) should follow on a separate line not in capital and not in bold style. Put reminds (asterisks, or other symbols) after the authors' names to distinguish different institutions. First name should correspond to presenter. On a separate line put the affiliation of the investigators (this should be in italic style) including the name of the institution, the city, the country. On a separate line put the e-mail address of the presenter. The text of the abstract will follow after one line spacing.

Contribution fee

Participation contribution is ALL-INCLUSIVE (this is an extraordinarily attractive “fee”) that covers not just lodging but all expenses, including registration for the workshop, meals (participants will receive vouchers to eat in local restaurants), and transport to and from the airport (Trapani or Palermo) as well as a one-day trip to the Greek temples scheduled during the conference. The amount of the registration contribution fee varies based on the academic status of the participant and will be communicated with the registration acceptance message.
