Applications of exercise immunology in clinical health

Talk Abstract

I will overview current projects investigating how the immune response to exercise can be exploited to harvest specific types of immune cells for patient benefit. I will also present protocols for ongoing clinical trials investigating the impact of regular exercise on autoimmunity in people with type-1 diabetes and systemic lupus erythematosus.
