Francesco Ferretti
Urban mammals in Italy

Francesco Ferretti gained his PhD in 2009 and is currently associate professor of Zoology at the University of Siena, Italy. His research activities are focused on behavioural ecology, conservation and management of mammals, with emphasis on ungulates and carnivores. Main research lines concern mechanisms of interspecific interactions (competition, facilitation, predator-prey relationships and antipredator behaviour), effects of environmental variation on ecology and behaviour, as well as counting methods.
