Romolo Caniglia has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Population Genetics and Genomics and in Conservation Genetics and Genomics. Specifically, his research focuses on the genetic monitoring and management of small, meso and large carnivores (wildcat, golden jackal and wolf), and on the study of human mediated hybridization between wild (sub)species and domesticated animals.
